Manchester City 8/1 from 12/1 for Virtual Title
FIFA 20 Ultimate ‘QuaranTeam’ has been launched by League Two side Leyton Orient, with 128 teams taking part in the straight knockout competition and it’s Sheffield Wednesday who are fancied to win the online title. With no actual football taking place due to the COVID-19 outbreak, FIFA 20 Ultimate ‘QuaranTeam’ is a tournament between clubs featuring on EA Sports’ video game, with sides going head to head to decide a winner. Sheffield Wednesday have been supported already to win the competition with their odds trimmed into 6/1 joint favourites from 9/1 with BoyleSports as they join Roma at the top of the betting. The price cut comes after they gave their season ticket holder and pro-gamer Delee the controller for their campaign with some teams using first-team players to represent them. With the suspension of the EFL and Premier League, the tournament has seen some top clubs like Wolves and Aston Villa all signed up. Manchester City are another team that have attracted some early support. The Citizens are now 8/1 from 12/1 to win the virtual trophy having already dominated plenty of real life trophies on the pitch. Birmingham City FC, who are sponsored by BoyleSports are 20/1 to win the FIFA honours. FIFA 20 Ultimate ‘QuaranTeam’ tournament has captured the interest of football fans with Leyton Orient aiming to raise £50,000 for several causes.
