There is plenty of cracking greyhound racing under the lights at Romford this evening with a STACKED 12 race card.

Every contest TONIGHT is an Open Race which is the highest level of action. Last week saw seven of my 12 selections COME IN at odds of 4/9, 1/2, 5/6, 4/5, 11/10, 2/1 and 7/1.

I’m hungry for more success this time around and are looking to be quick out of the traps with a number of fancies at the meeting.

I’ve also picked out our two best bets of the evening which are our most confident selections, these are called the NAP and Next Best, both of which won last week.

6:09: Romford: Ardera Nidge  (Trap Two)

Classy operator on his day, but nothing went right last time out. He was slow away and was always playing catch up from that point onwards. He gets the verdict here.

6:28: Romford: Florican Trend (Trap Two)

Very impressive when dotting up by six lengths at the track on Saturday. She showed plenty of pace to take the lead in the closing stages and looks an exciting prospect based on that effort.

6:43: Romford: Liberty Loch (Trap Two)

Shaped with promise after being slow away from the traps last week. He clearly needs to break better, but he is capable of further improvement.

6:58: Romford: Piemans Typhoon (Trap Four)

Nothing went right when last seen at the track in October. However, he has since posted an eyecatching trial time and is of tentative interest.

7:18: Romford: Bockos Jon Jo (Trap Three)

A real talent who has won his last two starts at the track. He showed a good attitude to score easily on his latest start and looks the best bet of the evening.

7:36: Romford: Tiffield Blueboy (Trap One)

The class act for Mark Wallis. He was impressive at the track recently and can be forgiven his latest effort having met trouble in running from a draw that didn’t suit. Back in the red jacket, he should go very close here.

7:56: Romford: Sober Express (Trap Four)

An intriguing first semi-final of the Coral Essex Vase. Sober Express is clearly in the form of his life and bolted up at the track last time out. He looks to have a better raw than Droopys Addition his main market rival and edges the vote.

8:17: Romford: Sparta Master (Trap Five)

Sparta Master looks one of the best bets of the night. He absolutely romped home by six and a half-lengths last time out and is repeating that effort he is the one they all have to beat in the second semi-final of the Coral Essex Vase.

8:38: Romford: Droopys Aiofe (Trap Two)

A likeable bitch who endured a troubled passage when only third last time. Previously she had looked a bitch on the upgrade and whilst this draw looks unknown territory, she makes plenty of appeal.

8:54: Romford: Bubbly Cristal (Trap Four)

A classy individual who disappointed last time out. She got bumped early and that put paid to her chances. However, she is by far and away the best bitch in this event and gets the vote.

9:12: Romford: Bubbly Angel (Trap Two)

Needs to get hear head back in front as she is starting to become a little frustrating. However, there is no doubting her ability and she has bumped into some high-class rivals of late. This looks a slightly easier task despite Stardom being of interest having recently contested the RPGTV St Leger.

9:28: Romford: Sonny Blue (Trap One)

A tricky event to finish proceeings. Sonny Blue has run two good races in defeat at Central Park of late, but had previously been an easy winner at Romford in A3 company earlier this month. He gets the vote in the finale.

NAP7:18: Romford: Bockos Jon Jo (Trap Three)

Next Best: 8:54: Romford: Bubbly Cristal (Trap Three)
