It is the start of the Bet St George Gymcrack at Sheffield this afternoon where the pick of the heats is Maxine Locke’s Droopys Vicar in heat two. He made it to the final of the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby at Monmore where he made his race debut in the opening round. He shaped well in a trial here and with just three starts under his belt, he is still in the ‘could be anything’ category.
